There is no question that every city is filled with idols. The real question is what are we going to do about it? Have we resigned to ourselves that the idols of consumerism, greed, and lust have a place in our cities and towns, or are we willing to allow God’s Spirit to break our heart over them? It is when we are gripped in our heart that we are willing to go beyond our comfort zones and do something about what we see.
