Some people take this to mean that God will give us anything that we desire. That is not the point of this Psalm. When we trust in the LORD to the point of delighting in him, our heart will go from carnal desires to wanting the right things. Then we will stop trying to find fulfillment in things that we don’t have and begin to enjoy the life that God has given us. God will GIVE us the desires of our heart, and those desire are good.
