TOPIC: THE 8 Cs OF WISDOM

1st C: Contention:

Deal with contention. You cannot afford to live a contentious life or be around toxic people. It is better to be humble and at peace than to be extravagant and around contentious people. If there is a conflict, de-escalate it quickly before it becomes something else. Do not pretend like everything is fine. The end of contention is always destruction.

2nd C: Children:

A) A child that refuses to grow is not different from a servant. Therefore, as Christians, we need to raise Godly children. As a child of God, you must be wise so that you won’t lose your place.

B) The crown and glory of parents is their children and the crown and glory of children is their parent. You want to be a good parent to your children and raise them in the way of the Lord. As a child honour your parents, buy them gifts, and make them happy and proud.

3rd C: Correction:

As believers, correction is a very important tool. God refined us through correction. Correction is not a problem for the wise. God does not correct with evil, rather God corrects with His words. A fool that refuses correction is more dangerous than a mother bear that is trying to save her child. If you are around such a person, flee!

4th C: Communication:

A) Avoid people: Evil people like malicious conversations. They constantly yarn for bad news. They give heed to false lips.

B) Do not lie: As a prince and queen of God do not lie. Saying the truth won’t kill you. Royalties don’t lie.

C) Do not communicate perversely in order not to be in trouble.

D) The wise speak wisely. Do not contribute to all conversations. Listen more and talk less. Learn to keep quiet when you are angry. If you don’t have to react, do not react.

5th C: Companionship

1) Gifts are ways to build friendships. Learn the habit of giving gifts.

2) In friendship forgiveness is important, and forbearance is important. Toxicity breaks friendship. Do not remain friends with someone that is bringing you down. Friendship is built on forgiveness. A friend loves at all times. A true friend does not abandon a friend. True friends correct each other in love.

6th C: Cruel Conduct to Abor

1) As a Christian, do not gloat at people’s misfortune.

2) Whosoever rewards evil for good evil shall not depart from them. As children of God do not reward evil for evil or reward good with evil.

3) He that justifies the wicked and he that condemned the just are an abomination to God.

4) Do not punish good people for doing the right thing.

5) The cost of wisdom is not money. Especially, the wisdom of God. The fool has money but cannot buy wisdom. You can only get wisdom and understanding from God.

6) The pursuit of evil is destruction. The fool lacks the capacity to build.

7th C: Cheerful heart:

You cannot afford to live in negativity. A broken spirit is a killer. Do not allow negative words to become your choice of expression. Speaking the right words is medicine to your body.

Trials – These are challenges you have to go through to achieve victory

Temptation – This is something you probably bring upon yourself, not God.

Tribulation –
